He is survived by: his wife Karen Torper; his children, Denise Petersen (Ken) and Doug Thompson (Lori); his grandchildren, Emily Devine (Cory), Cogan Petersen (Kylie), Cassie Johnson (Richard), Chase Schopen (Sophia), Ben Thompson (Alysha) and Maggie Thompson (Trevor Stevens); his brother-in-law Fred Walden; and his nephew Kevin Walden (Melody).
