She was predeceased by: her husband Pedro Roberto Ramirez; her parents, Victor Enrique Aparcana Ferreya and Carmen Julia Vizcardo; her brother Ronald Aparcana; and her nephew Herbert Ampuero.

She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Gerdes; her grandchildren, Katherine Aparcana, Dylan, Jacob and Emily Gerdes; and her siblings, Pedro, Norma, Carlos, Susana, Juan and Jorge Aparcana.
