With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Casteel of Omaha, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2026 at the age of 99. She was predeceased by: her parents, John M. Vogt and Emma Marie Luschen Vogt; her husband Warren Casteel; her siblings, Louis Vogt (Verene), Dorothy Weber (Ves), Walter Vogt (Jo), Louellen Kinney (Bill) and Velda Hughes (Dick); and her sons, Michael Casteel (Linda) and Patrick Casteel.
She is survived by: her son Todd Casteel (Jo Dee); and her daughter-in-law Jean Casteel (Patrick). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
