She is survived by: her children, Kevin McGruder (Lisa), Shawn Love-Bradley (Laurrell Bradley) and Todd McGruder (Renetta); her grandchildren, Malcolm McGruder, Kevin McGruder, Jr., Makaila McGruder, Matthew McGruder, Yusef McGruder and Leygasi Johnson; her great grandchildren, Kyliah and Leighton; her siblings, Michael Love, Saundra Love, Debra Gonzales and Wayne Murphy; and her siblings-in-law, Charlotte Abram (Terry), Calvin McGruder (Nell) and Spencer McGruder (Brenda).
