He is survived by: his mother Rene Starks; his stepfather Clifford Hill; his sister Alicia Glover; his uncle Dennis Cole; and his nephew Darrell Rollen Jr. (DJ). He is also survived by three Great-Aunts, and a host of Cousins.

Even in his last days, Darnelle still had more to give—wanting to donate his organs so that others could live.
