He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Jurgena and Edna Jurgena; his wife Renie; and his siblings, Venetha Retzlef, Vera Monroe, Verda Schipper and Orval Jurgena.

He is survived by: his daughter Shana; his son-in-law Tony Romero of Omaha; his grandsons, Kole and Dillon Romero; and his brother Harvey Jurgena (Sharon) of Fairbury. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Memorials will go to Cottonwood Hospice.
