He was predeceased by: his wife Helen "Debbie" Rickerl; his parents, Jerome Rickerl and Frances Rickerl; his siblings, Stephen Rickerl and Margaret Scheuer; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Glasser and Greg Parker.
He is survived by: his children, Christine Chorostecki (John), Timothy Rickerl (Starr Kennedy), Kathleen Hubbard (Rob), Ann Hinrichs (Paul) and Stephen Rickerl; his sisters, Catherine Glasser, Patty Reed (Poe) and Theresa Parker; and his grandchildren, Sam Chorostecki, Audrey, Flynn, Greta, Julia Rickerl, Owen Hubbard, Corinne, Thurston, Elise Hinrichs, Josephine and David Rickerl. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
