He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thelma Johnson (Rodgers) and Willy Smith Cheney; his wife Marilyn Cheney (Adair); his brother Tom; his caregiver Marilyn; his daughter Elizabeth Dosher (Cheney); his stepson Mike Adair (Carol); his grandsons, Harper and Huxley Dosher; and his stepgrandsons, Michael and Mathew Adair.
