He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Eckstrom and Clara Eckstrom (Burkhardt); and his siblings, Clarence Eckstrom, Charlene Betts and Clarice Ann Addisson.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Fishler of Michael's Catholic Church; and his children, Kelly Gomez (Kenny) of Conroe, TX, Michael Eckstrom (Nicole) of Omaha and Shawn Eckstrom (Rebecca) of Eugene, OR. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Solt-Wagner Funeral Home (1507 17th St, Central City, NE 68826). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later time.
