It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Debra J Kempcke of Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Chamberlin and Barbara Chamberlin; her sister-in-law Sue Hilgenkamp (Duane); her close friend Steve Bodner; and her brother Greg Chamberlin.

She is survived by: her sister Pam; her husband Jeffrey T. Kempcke; her son Todd; her parents-in-law, Art and Marilyn Kempcke; her children, Kiley Huber (Nate) and Brandon Kempcke (Abbie) of Blair; her grandchildren, Kember, Havah, Jackson, Benton and Kendall; her siblings, Mike Chamberlin and Lana Behrends (Michael); and her half-brothers, Mitch Chamberlin (Lynda), Curt Chamberlin (Janie) and Dave Chamberlin (Lori).

In lieu of flowers, a scholarship will be set up with the Washington County Foundation called the Debra J. Kempcke Memorial Scholarship to be awarded to a Blair High School student who is interested in pursuing a career in healthcare or science in hopes of finding a cure for cancer.
