She was predeceased by : her father Purl Timmerberg; and her sister Connie. She is survived by : her husband Richard "Rick" Strevey of Omaha; her children, Jennifer Bruening, Rachel Alvarado (Victor Alvarado Hernandez) and Timothy Strevey (Dana Tabor); her grandsons, Victor and Samuel Alvarado; her mother Melba Timmerberg; and her sister Diane (Tom Merryweather). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
