He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Ostergaard and Geneva Ostergaard; his brothers, Dean, Don, DeWayne, Denton and Doug; and his son Eric.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanie; his children, Kim Novak (Tom), Adam Ostergaard (Jill) and Allie Flohr (Andrew); his grandchildren, Shelby, Grant, Carley, Jackson, Grace, Abby, Owen, Nora and Wesley; his great grandchild Noah; and his siblings, Dallas, Delores, Dorothy, Shirley, Mark, Mike, Jean and Sandra. He is also survived by many in-laws that were like siblings, and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to St. Gerald's Catholic Church, the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, or the Open Door Mission of Omaha.
