He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxine Porter and Clarence "Tiny" Porter; and his brother Danny Porter. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Porter; his daughter Angie Vorderstrasse (Chris); his granddaughters, Clara, Lilian and Olivia; his daughter Sheri Porter (Carol); his granddaughter Emerson; and his siblings, Diane Watson, Dwight Porter and Dwaine Porter (Wendy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
