With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Diane Elizabeth Vlasek (Omaha, Nebraska), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Daskiewicz and Lucille Daskiewicz (Kalinski). She is survived by: her husband Eddie John Vlasek; her children, Suzanne Anderson (Dan) and Scott Vlasek (Karisa); her sister Linda Krueger (Ron); and her grandchildren, Christopher, Jessica Anderson and Izabella Vlasek.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Roeder Mortuary - 108th Street Chapel (2727 N 108th St, Omaha, NE 68164). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (9025 Larimore Ave, Omaha, NE 68134).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St.James Catholic Church or the Nebraska Humane Society.
