It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dixie Metzinger of Omaha, Nebraska, born in Caldwell, Kansas, who passed away on June 1, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, LaVerna Maxine Allen and Dwight Walker Young; her brother Ron Ferguson; and her husband Roger Earnest Metzinger. She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Metzinger, Michael Metzinger (Tammy Metzinger), Peter Metzinger (Katrina Metzinger) and Luke Metzinger; her grandchildren, Cassandra Stephenson, Jessica Robeck, Ashley Netzloff, Acacia Marek and Damek Marek; and her great grandchildren, Alyssa Green, Ezra Robeck and Neva Robeck.
