He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth McGonigal; his daughter Sandy McGonigal; and his son-in-law John Iverson. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Iverson, William A. McGonigal (Sue) and Patrick McGonigal (Kelly). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
