He was predeceased by: his wife Benne; his parents, LeRoy Beins and Anna Beins; and his brothers, Fred, Tom and Bob.
He is survived by: his children, Donna (Marvin), Dan, Dana (Terry) and Darla (Scott); his sister Deloris "Dee" Schuetz (Jon); and his sister-in-law Mary Ann Beins. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
