He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris Simonson and Florence Simonson; his former wife Audra; and his daughter Chantell. He is survived by: his wife Jona; his children, René (Mike), Shelley (Shannon) and Shane; his stepdaughter Lori Rick (Joe); his siblings, Hannah, Byron and Dwight; and his niece Pam. He is also survived by many Grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
