He is survived by: his mother Frances Williams; his children, Ebony "Joy" Jones of Omaha, Lamar Brown (Darnesha) of Omaha, Donald "Topper" Brown (Tomika) of Omaha and Donnita "Nita" Brown (Kevin) of Omaha; his siblings, Tonya Preston (Alford), John Sims Sr., Ladino Sims (Shelly) and Hattie Payton; his godson Rodney Collins; and his cousin Phillip McGary Sr.. He is also survived by 12 beautiful grandchildren.
