She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brumshagen and Catherine Brumshagen; and her daughters, Peggie Root and Sara Moya. She is survived by: her husband Rodney Rickels; her children, Bridget Thompson (Jeff), Richard Rickels (Réka), Amybeth Curtis (Paul) and Andy Rickels (Alli); her grandchildren, Ryan, Brooke, Jaiden, Marissa, Nathan, David, Rachel, Benjamin, Henry, Lucy, Carter, Bence and Seth; her great grandchild Mateo; and her siblings, Mary Kay Smith, Nancy Robertson (Chris) and Bill Brumshagen (Joan). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
