It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Evonne Nun of Omaha, Nebraska, born in Hardy, Nebraska, who passed away on January 3, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dominy and Mabel Dominy (Sorensen); and her brothers, John Dominy and Richard Dominy (Wilma). She is survived by: her husband John F. Nun of Omaha, NE; her children, David Nun (LIsa) of LIncoln, NE, Cathryn Poulsen (Jack) of Roxboro, NC, Carolyn Poppe (Scott) of Omaha, NE and Thomas Nun (Melissa) of Charlotte, NC.; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Blair, Jerad Nun, John Berry, Christopher Berry, Ryan Berry, Stacey Poppe, Emily Poppe, Nathan Poppe, Jacob Nun, Seth Nun and Andrea Nun.

“Doris and her loving husband John are our ( includes deceased beloved wife Gloria ) best ever RV friends. We traveled many a mile together and spent several winters together in warmer winter camps. In 1996 we both traveled from the tip of Texas to the Arctic Circle. It breaks my heart to know that Doris is no longer with us but I am consoled that Doris is with our Savior now and is greeted by Gloria and both are blessed. May God bless the Nun family.”
