She was predeceased by: her husband Richard V. Knight (Vince); her son John Patrick Knight; her sons-in-law, William L. Thalken (Bill) and James A. Johnson (Jim); her parents, Clarence Quist and Marie Quist; and her brothers, Bud and Francis Quist.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Kay Thalken (Knight), Kathleen (Knight), Wernz (Allen), Tom Knight (Lori John), Betsy (Knight), Schneider (Mark) and Peggy Johnson (Knight); her grandchildren, Matthew Thalken (Jess), Nicholas Thalken (Molly), Steven Ashford, Lauren Johnson, Sam Ashford, Vinny Knight, Jack Johnson, Megan Schneider and Katie Schneider Alec Knight (Danny Waldron); and her great grandchildren, Olivia, Eleanor, Dottie Thalken, Romi Knight and Scottie Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Josie Harper Hospice House or St. Pius X Church, in keeping with Dottie's generous spirit.
