He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy R. Miles Sr. and Veva Mae Miles (Brandon); and his siblings, George Miles, Leonard Miles, Charles Miles and Dorothy Petrie.
He is survived by: his siblings, Veloy Schmidt and Leroy R. "Bob" Miles Jr. (Margarett); and his sister-in-law Sue Miles. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews; and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to The Salvation Army Kroc Center.
