He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his daughters, Carmen and Kristin Trandahl; his sister Mary Kuehn; and his siblings-in-law, Sylvia Trandahl, Dianne Rhode Szarke, Marlin Kuehn and Jim Szarke.
He died of Alzheimer's disease.
