Elaine left this world on February 12, 2026 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Sass and Bertha Sass; and her husband Erv. She is survived by: her former husband Erwin August Klabunde; her daughters, Darlene Klabunde, Jodeen Hillig and Kathy Gude (Shawn); and her sister-in-law Delores Thompson. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and their spouses; and two great grandchildren.
