Elma A. Gabell Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elma A. Gabell in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on May 4, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul A. J. and Charlotte Koenig; and her brother Paul H. Koenig. She is survived by: her husband Frank C. Gabell; her children, MSgt Michael Thompson, Kristine Mikkelsen (Brent) and Deanna Schackleford (Randy Knudsen); her grandsons, Robert (Kelly), Erik (Jessica) and Karl Mikkelsen; her brother Robert Koenig; and her stepson Frank. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
