He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwayne Skutnik and Virginia Skutnik; and his sister Rosellen Stanway. He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Steven Skutnik (Anne) and Julie Chase; his grandchildren, Joseph and Margaret; and his siblings, David, Tom (Cris), Ron, Ken, Brian, Jerry Skutnik (Jeanne), Barb Sundt, Debbie Maxwell and Christine Sintic. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Korisko Larkin Staskiewicz Funeral Home (5108 F St, Omaha, NE 68117). A vigil service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Columbkille Catholic Church (200 E Sixth St, Papillion, NE 68046).
