It is with sadness that the passing of Evelyn Mae Nelson (Omaha, Nebraska) is shared. Evelyn, born on December 12, 1951, passed away on August 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Everts (Max) and Norma E. Everts (Hatcher); and her brother Ronald Everts. She is survived by: her husband Paul V. Nelson; her children, Adam P. Nelson (Evonne) and Anna L. Mayberry (Adam); her grandchildren, Asher Mayberry, Asaiah Mayberry and Ailsle Mayberry; her siblings, Jim Everts (Bobbie), Michael Everts (Linda), Martin Everts, David Everts (Debbie), Marilyn Gottsch, Linda Heyden and Jerre Kappel; and her sister-in-law Amy Miller (Ron). She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home (5701 Center St, Omaha, NE 68106).
