He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Anderson (Appleby Shaw); his daughter Wanda Stuck (Eikenbary Anderson); his brother Delmar Anderson; and his parents, Roy Anderson and Mamie Anderson (Martinson).

He is survived by: his sons, Kerry (Janet) and Bret Anderson (Ingra); his stepchildren, Stephen Shaw (Kristi) and Stephanie Peterson (Tom); his grandsons, Max Anderson (Katie), Ethan Anderson (Kia Jones), Justin Shaw (Natalie), James Peterson (Paige Landholm), Tyler Shaw and Michael Peterson (Lauren); and his siblings, Fran Anderson, Lois Holmberg and Jon Anderson.
