With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frederick William Schott (Omaha, Nebraska), born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on September 1, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Schott and May Schott (Marr); his sister Ruby Penrod; his parents-in-law, Manuel and Orene Ice; and his brother-in-law Ken Ice.

He is survived by: his sister Martha; his son Fred (Donna); his wife Donna; his daughters, Laura Rickley (Mark), Melissa Hiatt (Tim) and Emily Decker (Dave); his grandchildren, Tessa Anderson (Matt), Karly Schlosser (Bob), Megan Pfannenstiel (Caleb), Joe Hiatt (Ashton), Kenna Schweers (Hunter), Lily Hiatt, Davy Decker, Reese Decker, Joe Rickley (Tasha), Justin Rickley (Libby), Jenna Seals (Chad) and Jimmy Rickley; and his great grandchild Sister Martha Watkins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands or Heartland Neurological Therapy and Wellness Center.
