He was predeceased by: his parents, Garrett "Billie" Waters and Edith Waters (Putzstuck); his wife Donna Waters; his stepmother Mary Jo Waters; his siblings, Bernard, Bob and Peggy; and his stepbrother John Hall.
He is survived by: his children, Traci and Todd; his grandchildren, Adam, Evelyn and Aaron; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Cole (Jim), Jodi Werner (Bruce) and Teri Sonnenfield. He is also survived by Many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to Food Bank of the Heartland or Nebraska Humane Society.
