He was predeceased by: his parent Doris Rittenhouse (Wicklund); his children, Jack Rittenhouse and Brooke Martinez; his grandson Garret Rittenhouse; and his sister Carol Dickmeyer.

He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Stenglein; his daughter-in-law Angie Hanson (Chantz); his granddaughter Graci; and his brother Bill. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
