He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Edward and Lela Katherine Sherman (Hood); and his siblings, Ernie, Harry, Dennis, Jackie Fuller and Lanita Porterfield.

He is survived by: his siblings, Wilma Hutsell and Ricky; his children, Kathy Diemer, Pam Mullen, Teresa Mustan, Jeanne Mach (Kevin) and Nicky Hall (Brian); his grandchildren, Nathan (Sarah), Lauren, Kershwin, Kaleb, Brooke, Keirden, Parker and Erica; and his great grandchild Gabe. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
