He is survived by: his wife Linda Ball; his sons, Toby Asplin (Shelly) of Omaha, Matt Asplin (Cristina) of Omaha, Joel Asplin (Cheryl) and Tim Asplin (Jessica) of Omaha; his sister Kay Fiscus; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Daniela, Emily, Anika, Derek, Elijah, Felicity and Amelia.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Westwood Heights Baptist Church (3343 Pedersen Dr, Omaha, NE 68144). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Bega Cemetery (Stanton, NE 68779).
