He is survived by: his children, Kelley Gamblin, Jerry Nemec (Lori), Michael Nemec, Amy Krause (John) and Martin "Motts" Nemec (Tanya); his grandchildren, Amanda Green, Ashley Gamblin, Addie Schaeffer, Jessica, Butch Nemec, John Paul, Matthew, Madeline Krause, Wyatt, Morgan, Evrytt Nemec, Alex and Adam Nemec; his great grandchildren, Lily, Lydia, Evelyn, Bennett, Carter, Elias and Walker; his sister Mary Higgins; and his sister-in-law Mary Cirigliano (Lenny).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Korisko Larkin Staskiewicz Funeral Home (5108 F St, Omaha, NE 68117). A vigil service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Stanislaus Catholic Church (4002 J St, Omaha, NE 68107).
