He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Schmidt and Blanche M. Schmidt; and his sister Laura J. Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Claudia A. Schmidt (Cremeen); his sons, G. Robert Schmidt (Kim), Jon Schmidt (Cherie) and Tim Schmidt (Andrea); and his grandchildren, Jacob, Wyatt, Van and Jamie Schmidt. He is also survived by his family, friends.
