She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Suiter and Anthonette Suiter; her former husband Frank Rizzuto; and her siblings, Rosemary Anderson, Bobra Harris, Roy Suiter, William Suiter and Jim Suiter.

She is survived by: her spouse Creighton University (Sociology); her daughters, Jaymie Schilken (Mike), Rachel Gilliand (Scott), Heather Schneider (Bryan) and Allie Hengen (David); her grandchildren, Kelli Schilken, Lily Gillam (Ryan), Willow Gilliland, Giselle Schneider, Clover Hengen, Michael, Andrew Schilken, Cole, Casey Gilliland, Winston Schneider and Luke Hengen; and her sisters-in-law, Catherine Vescio and Patricia Suiter. She is also survived by her extended family and many good friends.
