He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Mastel and Mary Lou Liekhus; his stepfather Gilbert Liekhus; his stepson Todd Voss; and his brothers, Dan and Joe Mastel.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Mastel; his children, Camilla Hubbell (Riley), Julie Abold (James), Jamie Mastel and Jessica Crawford; his grandchildren, Mildred Johnson and Kirk McGuire; and his siblings, Theresa Peck (Marty), Joyce Muckey (Ted), Rita Jeffs, Nathan Mastel (Kathy) and Noah Mastel (Barb). He is also survived by several step-siblings; many nieces and nephews; and many other extended family.
