He is survived by: his mother Wilburta Berney; his close friend Cheri Griffis; his children, Matthew Berney, Ashley Pira (Shaun), Chantel Armstrong, Thomas Berney, Diamondlynn Berney, Jessie, Scott and Boe Hendrickson; his grandchildren, Summer Griffis, Mariyah Conway, Jayce Pira, Aubree Pira and Amelia Reed; and his siblings, Ray Berney, Marvin Berney (Brenda) and Tina Ayars.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the The Hall (3602 S 31st St, Omaha, NE 68105).
