He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ellen Weirich; his parents, John Weirich and Lena Weirich (Lemon); his siblings, Phillip Weirich (Dorothy), Glen Weirich (Laura), Samuel Weirich, Grace Bolinger (Melvin), Mary Shafer (Lawrence), Eunice Hizey (Roy) and Emma Maxine Bolinger (Fred); and his daughter Stacey Klinger (Scott).
He is survived by: his children, Linda Wyant, Yvonne Daniel (Randy), Steven Weirich (Cindee) and Greg Weirich (Tammy); and his stepdaughter Kristin Weirich. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the 72nd Street Chapel (1010 N 72nd St, Omaha, NE 68114). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church (11802 Pacific St, Omaha, NE 68154).
