He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry, Sr. Avant and Julia Avant; his sons, Rondo Avant and Lucas Turner; and his siblings, William Avant and Judy Rogers.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Avant. He is also survived by loving children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, one brother, other family and friends.

In memory of Henry C. Avant Jr., the family ask that you make a charitable contribution to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and/or St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
