He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Karl Kammerer and Edythe Kammerer (Anderson); his wife Annette; his children, Steven, Scott, Kelly Duracinski (Adam) and Stacy Fries (Andrew); his grandchildren, Miller, Torsten, Henry, Cooper and Auburn; his brother Karl (Sally); and his sisters-in-law, Barb Hopkins (Tim) and Diane Barna (John). He was also cherished by many relative and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church or The Nebraska Children's Home.
