As Irmgard departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Irmgard may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Irmgard leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Domnick and Hildegard Domnick; and her husband Vito. She is survived by: her sister Erika Eckardt (Dieter) of Berlin; and her children, Rita Schnitker (Dan), Antonia Vaiskunas, Sylvia Vaiskunas and Thomas Vaiskunas (Diane). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made for Masses or Nebraska Humane Society.
