She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Merle Gilliam and Marguerite Gilliam; her brother Merle Gilliam, Jr. (Jackie); her husband Jim Dobson; and her children, Diane Dobson Vanderloo (Mark), Janet Dobson, Tim Dobson (Kim), Tom Dobson (Donna) and Carol Dobson. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (6905 Blondo St, Omaha, NE 68104). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Food Bank of the Heartland, the Nebraska Humane Society or St. Pius X Catholic Church.
