As James Bruce departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James Bruce may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James Bruce leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marabeth McVay and Robert Bruce McVay; his sister MaryAnn; his wife Sandra Monge; and his sons, Ryan and Andrew.
A reception was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Roeder Mortuary (2727 N 108th St, Omaha, NE 68164).
