He was predeceased by: his wife Vicki Lynn; his parents, Edwin Schmidt and Ethel Schmidt; and his sister Joyce Langtry. He is survived by: his children, Corey Schmidt, Diana Schmidt, Holden and Jana McMahon; and his great grandchildren, Jovie, Violet and Jacob.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pacific Street Chapel (14151 Pacific St, Omaha, NE 68154).
