He is survived by: his friend Ed; his father John P. Cermak; his stepmother Pamela Cermak; his siblings, John, Rob Cermak, Lisa K. Setlak (Dan), Justin Cermak (Noel) and Allison Borgschulte (Jerry); and his siblings' children, Jennifer Mackey (Bill), Amanda Blunck (Ben), Nicholas Cermak, Sarah Ingersoll (Patrick), Lucy and Jack Borgschulte. He is also survived by cat, and many dear family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Bethany Funeral Home & Cremation Service (8201 Harrison St, La Vista, NE 68128). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the Humane Society on Jim's behalf.
