He was predeceased by: his wife Ethel Freeman. He is survived by: his son James C. Freeman (Deborah); his grandchildren, Ike Freeman and Morgann Freeman; his great grandchild Brooklynn Freeman; his stepdaughters, Lynette Black, Curtisa Kelley (Tisa), Lorie Hartshaw, Christina Cheryl Bennett (Tony) and Tonya Jackson; and his sisters-in-law, Emma Freeman and Carol Dorsey. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
