It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James M. McGaffin III of Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James McGaffin Jr. and Louise McGaffin; and his siblings, Patricia Perry (Henry) and Tom Diesing. He is survived by: his wife Deborah McGaffin; his children, Micah McGaffin, James McGaffin IV (Sarah), Mark McGaffin (Desiree) and Mercedes Josefiak (William); his grandchildren, Connor, James V, Xavier, Zion, Sebastien and Merritt; and his siblings, Kit Diesing, Sue Stafford (Carl), Tim McGaffin (Lori) and Chris Carter (Marvin). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving friends and family.
