She was predeceased by: her mother Mary L. Johnson; and her brother Vernon E. James Jr.. She is survived by: her father Vernon Garrett (Sara); her brothers, Ronald Johnson (Anita), Aaron Leroy Johnson, Elio James (Tina), Derrick Garrett and Malik Garrett; her son Duane Jackson Sr. (Jennifer); and her grandchildren, Kynisha, Kytrina, Tyreece, BreAna, Duane Jr., Nick, Brenden, Broderick and Bradley. She is also survived by 6 Great Grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
